G20 Presidency Reflects Interests of Global South, says Jaishankar

Jaishankar made these remarks during the annual flagship event co-hosted by the Ministry of External Affairs and Carnegie India. The theme for this year’s Summit is Geopolitics of Technology. “India would like to use the presidency of G20 in many ways to reflect interests and concerns today of the global south as we feel they’re being sidelined and not just be a voice but would like to take into global south something we’ve tested and prepared at home,” said EAM at Global Tech Summit. He made the remarks during a question-and-answer session at the event. International photography festival opens in HCM City

The main aim of the six-day event is to introduce Vietnamese landscapes and people to international friends. It also offers an excellent opportunity for both local and international artists to meet and exchange their respective experiences on the art of photography. The highlight of the occasion will be a 500-outstanding-photo exhibition featuring beautiful landscapes and people’s cultural life from throughout the country. A number of activities will also be held during the course of the event, such as a seminar on contemporary photography, exchanges between local and foreign artists, as well as a photo marathon and photo tour contests. Moreover, a range of equipment and new technology used in photography will also be put on display. This year’s contest has attracted 5,834 entries by 534 photographers from 36 countries and territories worldwide. 578 Magnum vies for award at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival

The film debuted to international audiences on November 22 at the international festival. A large number of film lovers in Estonia flocked to watch the film, giving it loud applause. They even held an exchange with the film crew after the premiere. “578 Magnum” is the first Vietnamese action film to compete at the international film festival, which is getting underway in Tallinn from November 11 to 27. Ikebana , or ‘the way of flowers,’ dates back more than 500 years in Japan, according to Reuters . The Rokkakudo temple, which is said to be the site associated with the birth of Ikebana , in Kyoto, Japan is currently the headquarters of Ikenobo, the oldest and largest school of the Japanese art of floral design. The 2023 MTGP Vietnam Championship is the first tournament to be organized by the Muay Thai Grand Prix (MTGP) in Vietnam, featuring top Vietnamese and international Muay Thai fighters. The MTGP is the organizer of professional events of Muay Thai, a combat sport of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques, at the highest level in the world. Over the past 10 years, the MTGP has organized more than 50 live events in 15 countries, creating development opportunities for many Muay, kickboxing, and MMA (mixed martial arts) talents, according to its website.
